Wally Munteanu-managed South African Ali Funeka and Abass Baraou, Germany, stepped on the scales today (Friday) for tomorrow night’s 10-round-clash in Frankfurt, Germany. An international contest between an up-and-coming prospect (Baraou) and a skilled veteran (Funeka). Youth vs experience. Both boxers successfully made the weight-limit, Funeka came in looking sharp at 68,2 kilos while his opponent Abass Baraou was slightly heavier at 68,6.
