Swedish middleweight Oliver Flodin was handed a "raw deal" when picking up his second pro win in Schwerin, Germany Friday Night (October 27th), as his bout turned out to be a so called "Swing Bout". The skilled 21 year old from Vaggeryd, Sweden, was supposed to have boxed the first bout on the undercard of The World Boxing Super Series quarterfinal between, Juergen Braehmer and Rob Brant, but his fight got pushed forward on and on for the entire evening until it finally ended up being the very last one on the card (even after the main event). The result of that was of course that it got cut from the televised bouts back home to Sweden, which made a lot of Swedish hardcore boxing-fans very disapointed, and it did no good for Team Flodin either, who was forced to "reload their batteries" several times, and the agony of putting on and off the gloves on numerous occasions standing ready "to go". Oliver still delivered a solid performance, outboxing his opponent Pavel Hryshkavets over four rounds comfortably. Well done by the "rookie-pro". The Life of a professional boxer is sometimes a bit hard, but Oliver is tough as nails.
