WBC super welterweight champion emeritus, and European number #1Mikaela Laurén has been working out intensly at " The Bosön Sports and athletic Center" for a couple of days (Friday-Sunday) and enjoyed some good quality sparring says trainer Wally Munteanu.
The team behind Laurén, Munteanu, Fernström actually brought over professional, Hanna Rankin (1-0), from Britain and in addition to that also gathered Swedish pro colleague, Lucy Wildheart (1-0, 1 KO) and amateur prospect Claudia Özgun, 16 years old, from Västerås, Sweden.
The quartet took turns sparring each other the whole weekend. When it comes to Laurén, she sparred six rounds with Wildheart on Friday, three rounds with Claudia and another three with Rankin on Saturday - two with Lucy and four with Hanna Rankin on Sunday.
Something big probably awaits Laurén in the near future but what it is isn´t decided yet (TBA). She will return in a big way, that is the plan, and therefore she keeps herself in good shape!
